Biodiesel is made by blending petroleum diesel with plant oils, animal fats, or recycled cooking oil. Any compression-ignition engine designed for diesel fuel can use 20% biodiesel without modification. Biodiesel is good for engines, good for the environment and good for the energy security of this country. It's no wonder it's the fastest growing alternative fuel in the United States!
To assure the best possible fuel experience, below are the three unique components to CountryMark’s biodiesel strategy.
1) CountryMark sources the highest quality biodiesel available in the industry. CountryMark acknowledges and advocates the National Biodiesel Board's BQ9000 accredidation program. The program is a unique combination of the ASTM standard for biodiesel, ASTM 6751, and a quality systems program that includes storage, sampling, testing, blending, shipping, distribution, and fuel management practices. Biodiesel arrives at CountryMark terminals warm and with a Certificate of Analysis. Fuel samples are taken on site and inspected before the fuel is unloaded. Biodiesel at CountryMark is stored in insulated tanks that maintain the optimum biodiesel fuel temperature and quality. Be sure to take a moment to study CountryMark's biodiesel specifications. See for yourself how CountryMark biodiesel exceeds ASTM standards and even BQ9000 standards.
2) CountryMark utilizes state-of-the art biodiesel blending technology at all four Indiana fuel terminals, which provide customers with well-blended fuels. Why is this important? Well-blended fuels provide customers with the best fuel performance. CountryMark uses rack injection blending instead of splash blending. With the rack injection system, as conventional diesel is being loaded into the truck, an injection of biodiesel is also added to the stream. In splash blending, biodiesel is loaded in the truck first and conventional diesel is loaded on top of it. The rack injection system creates an assured blend of biodiesel and conventional diesel. CountryMark takes the blending process one step farther and eliminates human error by using a computer to generate the exact amounts of biodiesel and conventional diesel. CountryMark is committed to bringing you the best blend so you can get the best results!
3) CountryMark offers a number of biodiesel blend levels and this means more choices for customers. CountryMark's rack injection system makes it simple for transport customers to get the biodiesel blend of their choice, up to 20 percent. Off the tankwagon, our branded dealers also offer a variety of biodiesel blends ranging from 2 percent biodiesel to 20 percent. And no one sells more biodiesel blended fuels at pump in the state of Indiana than CountryMark retail/commercial fuel sites.
Here is what some of our customers have to say about CountryMark biodiesel:
"I will use it as much as possible. It is renewable, pollutes less, it is a better lubricator. I can expect longer engine life out of it." - Super Dieselex-4 customer
"We use it at least 80% of the time. I like the additional lubrication in the engine." - Premium Diesel-R customer
If you are ready to try a proven fuel that provides a 50 plus cetane rating, performs in all weather conditions, reduces exhaust emissions and reduces this country’s dependency on foreign oil, then ask your your local CountryMark branded dealer for these premium biodiesel products.
