Ethanol is made by fermenting corn then blending it with petroleum gasoline. Ethanol is a great match with CountryMark PLUS gasoline. Both are 100% American made products that reduce dependency on foreign oil, increase energy security and better fuel the American economy.

 

 

All CountryMark proprietary gasoline products contain a 10% blend of ethanol. 

 

There are several benefits of ethanol blended fuels.

 

E10 raises the octane level of the base fuel by two to three numbers, which maximizes engine performance and reduces or eliminates engine knock.

 

Ethanol blended fuels lower emissions for cleaner air due to reduced carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emissions from more complete fuel combustion. 

 

Ethanol reduces our dependence on foreign oil. 1 barrel of ethanol can displace 1.2 barrels of petroleum.
