CountryMark and Indiana Prairie Farmer magazine are pleased to sponsor an inaugural essay contest for youth in grades 7^th through 12^th. The 2008 theme is "Educating the Public about Agriculture."

Cash awards of $200, first place; $100, second place; and four $50 third place awards will be given. Essays should be a maximum of 300 words and be postmarked by February 15, 2008. A panel of judges will review the essays with the winners being announced in the April issue of Indiana Prairie Farmer magazine.

The official contest announcement will be made in the January '08 issue of Indiana Prairie Farmer magazine. Farm Progress Companies reserves the right to publish those essays deemed appropriate.
