Small Refiner Exemption Protects Jobs without Destruction to Renewable Fuel Demand

As a farmer-owned cooperative, CountryMark serves as a strong advocate and state leader in the marketing of renewable fuels including ethanol and biodiesel blends. Due to disproportionate economic hardship, CountryMark applied for an exemption under the Environmental Protection Agency's Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) for 2018 and has notified the EPA of its intent to sue because the EPA has not issued its determination within the timeframe required by law.

CountryMark Fuels Power the Indiana State Fair

The 2018 Indiana State Fair will run from August 3-19 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. During this 17-day fair, the tractor shuttles will be powered by CountryMark's Premium Dieselex-4, and the antique tractors will be powered by CountryMark PLUS gasoline. Both CountryMark fuel products are being delivered by Co-Alliance.

Governor at our refinery Pavilion at 11 a.m. Wednesday to hear remarks from our CEO, an Indiana farmer and an Illinois truck fleet owner about why they believe in biodiesel-blended fuels. CountryMark Fueling Freedom events raise over $53,000 for local military families
CountryMark’s Fueling Freedom events on June 25 raised more than $53,000 to support local National Guard Family Readiness Groups.
 
CountryMark fuel stations to raise money for local military families through Fueling Freedom program
When you fill up at a participating CountryMark fuel station on Friday, June 25 between noon and 5pm, CountryMark and its branded dealers will donate 50 cents for every gallon of fuel pumped to local National Guard Family Readiness Groups. Customers are also invited to register to win a $150 gift card.
 
CountryMark Supports Indiana Ethanol Bill
An unknown Ohio group mailed postcards earlier this month to a number of Indiana households and businesses that claimed CountryMark "hates ethanol" because of CountryMark's support for Indiana Senate Bill 303, also known as the ethanol or gasohol bill. SB 303 seeks to update Indiana's definition of gasohol and would make selling gasoline with a 15 percent blend of ethanol legal year round in the state of Indiana.
 
CountryMark helps cover mask costs for local students in Posey County
CountryMark is helping to cover the costs of face masks for students attending school in the Metropolitan School District of North Posey County and the Metropolitan School District of Mount Vernon Indiana.
