CountryMark's Fueling Freedom events on June 24 raised more than $63,000 to support local National Guard Family Readiness Groups and Unite Service Organizations. Across Indiana, Illinois and Ohio, 34 CountryMark-branded fueling stations participated in Fueling Freedom 2022. For every gallon of fuel pumped, CountryMark and local branded dealers agreed to donate 50 cents to organizations with a mission of supporting local military families.

When you fill up at a participating CountryMark fuel station on Friday, June 25 between noon and 5pm, CountryMark and its branded dealers will donate 50 cents for every gallon of fuel pumped to local National Guard Family Readiness Groups. Customers are also invited to register to win a $150 gift card.

An unknown Ohio group mailed postcards earlier this month to a number of Indiana households and businesses that claimed CountryMark "hates ethanol" because of CountryMark's support for Indiana Senate Bill 303, also known as the ethanol or gasohol bill. SB 303 seeks to update Indiana's definition of gasohol and would make selling gasoline with a 15 percent blend of ethanol legal year round in the state of Indiana.

CountryMark, a farmer-owned cooperative, recently added Unleaded 88, a 15 percent ethanol blend to its PLUS gasoline product line-up. The new, higher octane gasoline fuel will be available for purchase at CountryMark fuel terminal locations in Jolietville, Mt. Vernon, Peru and Switz City, Indiana.
