Tonight, CountryMark was awarded the Indiana Oil and Gas Association’s Facility of the Year award for its new operations facility in Francisco, Indiana.
This facility was built in 2016 in Gibson County. It includes a 4,800 square foot building, which features a shop with three work bays, a loft supply storage area, offices, a conference room, and employee lockers.
“CountryMark is committed to the future of Indiana oil production and this facility demonstrates that commitment,” said George Morgan, who serves as a Field Operations Manager for Countrymark Energy Resources. “We believe producing a reliable source of domestic energy is the right thing to do for our farmer owners, our employees and the fuel customers we serve.”
CountryMark has grown to become one of the largest oil producers in the Illinois Basin, which includes oil fields in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. Today, CountryMark manages 1,400 oil wells, producing 2,500 barrels of oil per day and employs more than 500 energy professionals.
“All of the employees we have that work on the Indiana oil production side of our business benefit from the efficiencies of this new facility in Gibson County,” said Morgan.
CountryMark entered the oil production business in 2010, and this marks the third year for CountryMark to win the Indiana Oil and Gas Association’s Facility of the Year award.
