Mt. Carmel opens first CountryMark retail fuel site
A southern Illinois community recently opened its first CountryMark fuel station featuring premium-quality gasoline and diesel fuel at 209 West 3rd St in Mt. Carmel, Ill.
“We are pleased to offer CountryMark branded fuels at this station conveniently located on the corner of State Roads 1 and 64, just five miles west of Princeton, Ind.,” said Alan Deskin, central operations manager for SynEnergy Partners. “From compact cars to heavy-duty trucks, the Mt. Carmel station provides a great fueling option for motorists in this busy Illinois-Indiana community.”
The Mt. Carmel station features a convenience store with hot breakfast and lunch options including pizza and fried chicken. In addition, the site is open seven days a week and provides 24/7 fuel access.
Specific fuel products sold at this station will include CountryMark diesel fuel and CountryMark 87 PLUS gasoline, a TOP TIER certified gasoline that includes a 10 percent ethanol blend.
“Only 30 gasoline retailers in the nation have achieved TOP TIER status,” said CountryMark Retail Manager Gary Barrett. “Eight of the largest auto manufacturers in the world recommend TOP TIER gasoline because of what this level of fuel quality does for gasoline engine performance and engine life. That’s the quality of fuel our customers expect from CountryMark, and that is the quality of fuel we provide.”
The CountryMark gasoline and diesel fuel at this renovated site is being supplied by SynEnergy, a farmer-owned cooperative headquartered in Mt. Vernon, Ind. SynEnergy currently supplies nine CountryMark fuel stations in Indiana and Illinois.
Today, there are more than 100 branded retail stations and 200-plus tankwagon routes throughout the Midwest that sell and deliver CountryMark refined fuels and lubricants.
CountryMark’s line of premium liquid fuels begins with light, sweet American crude oil. It is refined to the highest specifications at the CountryMark refinery in Mt. Vernon, Ind. Fuel quality and integrity is further protected in distribution, as CountryMark owns its own pipeline distribution system.
