CountryMark names vice president of finance, administration

CountryMark recently named Jo Biggers as the new vice president of finance and administration leading four corporate teams including finance and accounting, information technology, human resources and division orders and purchasing. 


“After a long and thorough search, I believe that Jo has the desired attributes of strategic thinking, intellectual curiosity, personal accountability, analytical acumen and team dynamics in order to successfully lead the finance and administration team,” said Charlie Smith, chief executive officer for CountryMark.

In her new role, Biggers will work with the executive leadership team to manage the financial future of CountryMark as well as direct and lead a diverse portfolio of critical administrative responsibilities.

“The vice president of finance and administration is one of great responsibility and I’m humbled to be chosen to lead CountryMark in that capacity,” said Biggers.  “I’m looking forward to identifying opportunities in our business to shape our company’s roadmap to sustainable profitability.”

According to Smith, Biggers comes to CountryMark with a strong record of success in multiple industries and environments including small start-up and Fortune 500 companies. She was most recently the vice president of finance at Midcontinent ISO (MISO) in Carmel, Ind. A certified public accountant, Biggers received a master’s of business administration in management information systems from Indiana University and a bachelor’s of science in accounting from Indiana University.

 

CountryMark's Fueling Freedom raises more than $55,000 for local military families
CountryMark's Fueling Freedom events on June 30 raised over $55,000 to support local National Guard Solider and Family Readiness Groups (SFRG) and United Service Organizations (USO).
