CountryMark Fuels Power the Indiana State Fair

Jul 26 2017

The 2017 Indiana State Fair will run from August 4-20 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. During this 17-day fair, the tractor shuttles will be powered by CountryMark’s Premium Dieselex-4, and the antique tractors will be powered by CountryMark PLUS gasoline. Both CountryMark fuel products are being delivered by Co-Alliance.

Co-Alliance’s Energy Division Vice President Todd Masten explains why his farmer-owned cooperative is looking forward to delivering the fuels that will power the tractor shuttles, which take visitors around the fairgrounds, as well as the antique tractors, which are on parade every evening during the fair.

“The State Fair is really about the Indiana agricultural community coming together to put on display the best of what our industry has to offer,” said Masten. “For us to be able to contribute to the success of the Indiana State Fair really means a lot to our employees and our farmer owners.”

CountryMark Vice President of Supply and Marketing Matt Smorch agreed.

“CountryMark is a farmer-owned cooperative with headquarters here in Indiana so this fair is very special to us,” said Smorch. “For us, the fair is heritage, community and a commitment to a brighter future all wrapped up in one event. Having our premium quality, American-made fuels selected as the official fuel of the Indiana State Fair is something we are very proud of.

In addition to being the official fuel supplier of the Indiana State Fair, CountryMark is also a sponsor of Pioneer Village and runs its antique tankwagon through the State Fair Parade most evenings during the fair.
