Two CountryMark Fuel Stations will Host Fundraisers for Children in Need

Sep 01 2023

CountryMark’s Fueling Wishes fundraiser is returning for the second year to fund the wishes of two Hoosier children battling critical illnesses. During the month of September, CountryMark is donating 20 cents for every gallon of fuel sold at the CountryMark station in Greenfield, IN and the CountryMark station in Winslow, IN to fund the wishes of each child.

“CountryMark is very excited to partner again with Indiana Wish and our branded station partners to support these families in the community,” said CountryMark Vice President of Supply & Marketing Matt Makinson. “We are asking all customers in these areas to fill up at these stations often throughout the month and make this fundraiser an incredible success. Join us in helping these children and their families have an incredible trip where the challenge of daily life can be forgotten, and new memories are made!”

Fuel purchases from every pump at both the CountryMark Greenfield, Indiana station and the CountryMark Winslow, Indiana station will contribute towards the proceeds raised for Fueling Wishes. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to Indiana Wish, an Indiana-focused nonprofit organization granting wishes for Hoosier children diagnosed with life threatening illness.

“Indiana Wish is thankful for our amazing community partner, CountryMark,” said Indiana Wish Executive Director, J’Lynn Mayes. “Because of the generosity of CountryMark and its customers, Indiana Wish can grant two additional wishes this year from the funds they will raise from Fueling Wishes to an Indiana child suffering from a life-threatening illness. CountyMark goes above and beyond, and we are forever grateful for their partnership and all they have done for our Wish kids.”

CountryMark is teaming up with member cooperatives Co-Alliance Cooperative, Inc. and SynEnergy Partners LLC to make this fundraiser possible at the CountryMark Greenfield station and the CountryMark Winslow station respectively.

“SynEnergy Partners is honored to be partnering with CountryMark, Indiana Wish and Country Junction Winslow to make Amelia’s dream a reality,” said SynEnergy Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey Owens. “We strive to support and positively impact the communities in which we live, work and worship. The Fueling Wishes campaign partnership is a collaboration of local businesses supporting children in our communities who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening or terminal illness and is a testament to the commitment and support of SynEnergy Partners and its employee.”

The Fueling Wishes fundraiser in Winslow will support the wish of Amelia, a seven-year-old Pike County child suffering a complete heart block with a wish to visit Disney World with her family. The fundraiser in Greenfield will support the wish of Janiyah, a 14-year-old Indianapolis child awaiting a heart transplant with a wish to also travel to Disney World with her family.

Fueling Wishes runs from September 1st to September 30th at both the CountryMark Greenfield station and the CountryMark Winslow station. Both communities are invited to also show support to Janiyah, Amelia, and their families by filling out cards of support located inside the convenience stores at both locations.

The CountryMark Greenfield station is located on 230 W. Osage Street in Greenfield, Indiana.

The CountryMark Winslow station is located on 1651 E. State Road 64 in Winslow, Indiana.
