ADVANCED FUEL MEANS
MORE ADVANTAGES FOR YOU.
Improved power. Enhanced performance. Greater reliability, season to season. Across all these factors, and more, our latest formulation of Premium Dieselex-4™ raises the standards in fuel formulated for your excellence. With the introduction of ISO Technology™, CountryMark® maintains a long track record of continually improving our products. And providing our customers more in every gallon.
THE SCIENCE BEHIND OUR PREMIUM DIESEL.
WHAT IS ISO TECHNOLOGY?
It's a diesel refining process utilizing third-party proprietary catalysts and reactor designs. This refining technique produces a diesel fuel superior to fuels manufactured in a conventional refining process.
HOW DOES ISO TECHNOLOGY WORK?
Catalysts rearrange molecules in a way that allows more of the high-quality components of crude oil to make it into the final diesel fuel product. As a result of this process, known as catalytic isomerization, CountryMark produces diesel fuels with superior cetane content, more power, and a lower cloud point compared to conventional diesel fuel.
THE BENEFITS OUR BETTER FUEL BRINGS.
MORE POWER
The paraffin wax in crude oil is what gives diesel fuel its power, but it also causes the fuel to gel in colder temperatures. Isomerization changes the orientation of the wax molecules, allowing users to benefit from the power of the heavier wax molecules while also enjoying lower cloud points, which improves the winter operability of the fuel.
EASIER COLD WEATHER STARTS
The cetane number is a measure of a fuel’s ignition quality, with higher numbers indicating better ignition characteristics. Through the isomerization process, CountryMark increases the paraffin content, which produces fuels with higher cetane numbers. CountryMark’s high cetane diesel fuel enables users to have easier startsduring those long, cold winter days.
IMPROVED WINTER OPERABILITY
Inside the reactor, the catalysts selectively react with the straight-chain paraffinic wax molecules, breaking their long chains and rearranging the carbon atoms to form branched isoparaffins. The result? Lower cloud points, which enable users to reliably operate in harsh, winter climates.
EXCEPTIONAL STABILITY, LUBRICITY, AND DETERGENCY
Because it is CountryMark Premium Dieselex-4™, it will continue to offer users exceptional oxidation stability, lubricity, and detergency—critical elements of premium diesel fuel.
LOWER CARBON
CountryMark's new reactor and catalysts also make it possible for CountryMark to co-process high-quality soybean oil with conventional diesel fuel. CountryMark Premium Dieselex-4™ with ISO Technology™ can include up to 10% American soybean oil, which reduces the carbon intensity of CountryMark fuels. This is good for the environment, the American economy, and the American farmer.
OEM APPROVED
CountryMark's co-processed fuel is ASTM D975 certified, which means it is approved for use by all OEMs.
IT'S NOT BIODIESEL.

While CountryMark Premium Dieselex-4 with ISO Technology can include up to 10% American soybean oil, it’s not biodiesel. Biodiesel is made through esterification, which chemically changes the oil into esters with different properties from diesel. Instead, CountryMark uses co-processing, where soybean oil and diesel are hydrotreated together—a refining method that removes impurities and produces ahigh-quality, hydrocarbon-based diesel fuel. Thechart above highlights the product differences.
